Welcome to The Fairy Foundation
Making a Difference Through Magic

About Us

Who we are
The Fairy Foundation is a Colorado-based volunteer group focusing on bringing magic to children and people in our community through character interactions! We aim to provide meaningful experiences and positively support others, bringing smiles, kindness, and positivity where possible.
Everyone deserves to experience the magic and let their creativity and imagination shine. We show up with gentle hearts and open arms, hoping to spark smiles, uplift spirits, and remind others that they matter.
Our Mission
To spread magic and creativity, and to encourage imagination.
To foster kindness, thoughtfulness, and positive self-esteem.
To promote inclusion, play, acceptance, and security.

Focus
We strive to create a secure and welcoming environment where everyone can thrive, be their true selves, and discover the magic within. By sharing smiles and kindness, we strive to make the world a better place, one moment at a time.
The Fairy Foundation provides characters for charities, nonprofits, hospitals, libraries, kinship homes, and other places within our community. We want everyone to be able to meet their favorite characters in a safe, supportive, and accessible environment with adaptable experiences, while still maintaining character integrity.

"The smallest act of kindness can create the biggest kind of magic."
Built on Heart, Powered by Purpose
Our work is rooted in connection, led by compassion, and open to all.

Community
We believe in the magic of showing up. Whether we’re visiting a child in need or joining a local event, our mission begins with connection. We build community through moments of shared joy, creating spaces where families feel seen, supported, and never alone.

Kindness
Compassion leads every interaction. Every character, every visit, every message is rooted in a desire to uplift. We approach others with gentleness and care, knowing that even the smallest act of kindness can spark hope and healing.

Inclusion
We are committed to honoring all identities and experiences and are continually learning how to serve with respect and understanding. Inclusion means listening, adapting, and ensuring that every child, every family, and every story has a place in our world of magic.

Trained Volunteers
Our volunteers are trained to truly connect. With trauma-informed, medical awareness, human development, and disability inclusion practices, they create experiences that are safe, joyful, understanding, and empowering for every child.

Sensory Friendly
We take extra care to keep events calm and adaptable. By paying attention to the details that help children feel seen, comfortable, and confident, we honor each child’s needs and celebrate their unique ways of engaging with the world.

Character Integrity
Our characters are more than costumes—they are role models. We uphold the highest standards of character integrity, ensuring every portrayal is respectful, consistent, and uplifting, so children experience the wonder and authenticity they deserve.

Our Commitment to Inclusion & Acceptance

At The Fairy Foundation, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to share that we have officially been certified through the Autism Friendly Business Initiative (AFBI), a program developed by Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) of Louisville. This certification reflects our commitment to creating welcoming, sensory-considerate experiences for all children and families—especially those impacted by autism and other neurodiverse conditions.
With 1 in 36 children in the U.S. diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, we believe it’s more important than ever to foster understanding, acceptance, and appreciation. Our team has received training to recognize the unique needs of individuals with autism, use communication strategies that are respectful and effective, and ensure every family feels seen, supported, and safe in our care.
At TFF, magic belongs to everyone, and we are honored to take this step forward in making our community a more inclusive and joyful place.
